My favorite auto magazine comes to iPad … for years I’ve subscribed to AutoWeek and Road & Track. Both are now available for iPad users — both have content plus videos and other interactive content you don’t get in the magazine. (Tip: I also still subscribe to the printed versions!)

Matt Russell’s article called “The Ultimate Mac Mini Media Center” really lists everything you need at the date it was written. Today’s Mac Mini can actually be purchased as a server with two 500 Gig hard drives and no optical drive with Snow Leopard Server software.

All Macs come with a video program called Front Row which is very similar to the Apple TV interface. However Front Row doesn’t support a number of video formats and doesn’t handle a number of video web sites, such as Hulu. Continue reading »
