The iPad seems to have become wildly popular among both performance musicians and studio technicians alike. I recently watch a live performance where the group was using the Yamaha sound board, and the sound guy was walking around the audience running the sound board. Now that’s cool! So, I decided to look into that genre of iOS apps. I have used StumbleUpon as a FireFox plug-in for a number of years to find web sites that I can report on here. For some reason, they have never produced a similar plug-in for Safari. They do have a web site that acts similar to the plug-in, but it still isn’t the same. Now they have an iOS app that will work with both the iPad and the iPhone. Continue reading »

The iPhone and iPod touch has a pretty basic calculator built into it.
