Mac Games and More has announced the release of a new Mac game called United States of Pool, which is a set of billiards game that allows you to travel across American stopping off in various cities to play a match of 9-Ball pool and more. In order to advance to the next city, players are required to earn a minimum number of points and win the game against their opponent.

I remember when I was a grade schooler, one of the popular TV shows was “Sergeant Preston of the Yukon.” This was about a Monty and his Husky sled dog King. They gave away square inches of the Yukon with a coupon on a box of Quaker Oats. This contest involving an iPhone game did that one better by giving away a full acre of land. It has been a long time since I have played Ultima. It seems like it was on an Apple II, but it might have been on a MacPlus. However, I just found out it is available for the Mac using Mac OS /x 10.2.8 or newer, which means it has been out a while, but it also is Universal and works on PowerPC and Intel machines.
