The original web site that gave you random new sites was one called “Roulette.com.” Of course, today that is a gaming industry site. StumbleUpon did it one better with Firefox plug-in that let people recommend specific sites by category and thus narrows down the area of search.

Since last week, we’ve been tracking, analyzing and reporting a phishing attack on Twitter users. This attack demonstrates how many of the Twitter accounts have been hijacked and turned into spam vehicles for cyber criminals. Yet, the attack, initially, has nothing to do with Twitter.

According to this article in AdAge, Facebook has obtained profitability. However, they quote CEO Mark Zuckerberg of saying that it has become “cash-flow positive” in the second quarter. I am not sure that “cash-flow positive” means profit. Continue reading »
