Use Gmail to make VoIP calls

Jessica Dolcourtse, wrote a hands-on review of Google’s new voice service. She talks about last week’s Google rollout of a new program that allows you to add voice to Gmails built-in Google Talk. Is uses a plugin that lets you use a dial pad so you can launch VoIP calls from the Gmail.com in-box, or from within iGoogle. Of course, it is currently only to U.S. Gmail users.

Soulver 2.0

Missing Manual I recently got Soulver for the Mac, but there are also versions for the iPad and iPhone. It helps you work things out. It’s quicker to use than a spreadsheet, and smarter and clearer than a traditional calculator. It is used to play around with numbers, do “back of the envelope” quick calculations, and solve day-to-day problems.
