My friend Lesa Snider has some exciting things going on. Lesa is past president of the Cowtown MUG here in Fort Worth and was on the User Group Advisory Board for quite awhile. She is planning on a 7 night river cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg with a 2 -night Prague-add on available. This is a photograph journey with classes on “Taking Better Pictures with Any Cameras” well as “Editing with Photoshop Elements and iPhoto ’11.”

If you have Adobe’s Creative Suite 5, this is a cool book for only $30.00 from Adobe. If you only have Photoshop CS5, save your money; as this 345 page book will have slightly less than fifty pages for you, and only eleven pages on Bridge. This is a CS5 Premium Suite book, folks.

As I said before, I’d get back to you on more of this ePub stuff. Since I already had it on Apple’s iBooks, the next hurdle was to try Kindle. Now I found out by reading that Kindle uses a different format than Apple’s ePub. Why that is and what it is will never reach the front end of my brain, sadly to say.

Why am I interested in ePub, and what the heck is it anyway? As to the why, it’s because I just paid $100.00 to have my book “the Naked Serviceman” converted to an ePub and submitted to Apple and Kindle for me. I already had my ISBN number so I didn’t need that done for me.
