I found this article on Mashable.  What the site JustDelete.Me gives links to help remove your name removed from each web site.

It color codes those link with Green, Orange, Red and Black backgrounds around the words: Easy, Medium, Hard and Impossible in white.

Easy means that it is simple, usually just a matter of clicking a delete or unsubscribe button.

Medium means that there are some extra steps.

Red usually means that you cannot be removed without contacting customer services.

Impossible of course means that you can not get yourself deleted.

There are 351 sites listed.  Of those 45 are considered impossible and contain such names as Bitly, Blogger, Evernote, Gawker, Gizmodo, GoDaddy, ICQ, LIfehacker, Netflix, Picasa, Pinterest, Starbucks, Steam, Wikipedia and WordPress.

So most of us are already caught.  But there are ways even on the “impossible” sites to make yourself less noticeable.  For example with Blogger, you can’t delete the account without deleting your entire Google account.  But you can delete your blog.
