Google Files New Patent Lawsuit Against Apple, Seeks To Block IPhone, IPad …

Google’s Motorola unit just filed a new patent-infringement lawsuit against Apple with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) in Washington.
According to this report, Motorola’s complaint seeks to block Apple from importing the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and ‘various Apple computers.’ Today’s lawsuit is only the latest in a long series of recent disputes between Apple and Motorola/Google, but it marks the first time that Motorola is filing one of these lawsuits since its acquisition by Google became final in February.

How Steve Jobs’ iPad landed in the hands of a clown

Families waiting for San Francisco’s cable cars on a recent morning couldn’t help but notice Kenny the Clown, who wore a curly rainbow wig as he twisted brightly colored balloons into animal shapes for visitors, blasting Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” from an iPad at his feet.
Little did the clown know that the tablet doubling as his stereo would turn out to have been stolen from the home of the late Steve Jobs.

Galaxy tablet wields pen to take on iPad

The tablet-computer market is like guerrilla warfare. One huge army — Apple — dominates the land, while a ragtag group of insurgents keeps raiding and probing, hoping to find some opening it can exploit.
With Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 10.1, the rebels have scored a small victory. It’s a tablet that does something the iPad doesn’t do, and it does it well. This victory won’t win the war, though. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/ABPub/2012/08/16/2018933592.jpg

Apple iPad Mini Production Already in Full Swing?

As rumors of an iPad Mini continue to mount, the latest report claims that this smaller slate is already in full production, which if true, lines up rather nicely with whispers of a September announcement from Apple.
In a recent research note to investors, a Jefferies analyst wrote that the iPad Mini is already being assembled by Apple’s manufacturing partners, citing the recent spike in Foxconn’s revenues.

Will there be a white iPad mini? New pics make it look that way

An Apple-product repair company posted new pictures of what it believes is the iPhone 5 and iPad mini’s new dock connectors, and the pictures seem to indicate both devices will be available in black and white.
This isn’t the most surprising news ever since the current iPad and iPhone 4S products are also available in the two colors, but the pictures are the first indication we’ve gotten that the two colors will also be available for the rumored iPad mini. The images are also believed to be the first look at the new, smaller dock connector in high resolution.

Apple and Samsung are heading to closing arguments in their patent infringement trial, and reputations and big bucks are at stake.
