Ex-Apple’s Woz says ‘iPhone best, but Windows bests Android’
Apple’s co-founder, Steve Wozniak (‘Woz’) is in the news again, this time saying his Windows-powered Nokia Lumia beats Android when it comes to its beautiful and intuitive user interface, though he still thinks iPhone is best.
Woz has been testing a new Nokia Lumia Windows-powered smartphone, and he’s full of praise for the OS and its user interface.

Prepaid mobile carriers hurt by iPhone popularity
MetroPCS and Leap Wireless, the two biggest prepaid mobile phone carriers in the United States, are watching the iPhone’s booming sales from the sidelines.
Apple’s device – the best-selling smart phone at AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel – isn’t available from MetroPCS and Leap, which typically offer lower-end models to users who don’t want monthly contracts.

Promise Trumps Peril on Planet iPhone
The bigger the iPhone gets as a global phenomenon, the more power Apple will have over carriers, manufacturers, and even competitors and consumers. But the harder it will become to keep repeating phenomenal success.
The year was 2006, and Apple was said to be developing a cellular telephone.

iPhone App Downloads Fell 30 Percent in March
There was a “dramatic decline” in the number of iPhone apps downloaded during March, according to mobile app marketing firm Fiksu.
iPhone mobile app downloads decreased by 30 percent, or about 2 million downloads, last month, the company said. The top 200 free U.S. iPhone apps garnered 4.45 million downloads a day in March, down from 6.35 million per day in February.

This week’s announcement and almost immediate sellout of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June ignited anticipation for, well, awesome stuff related to iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 will have a redesigned Home button, and it will be round or maybe rounded square . . . . In the iOSphere, it’s easy to lose a sense of perspective. All the talk about the wondrous Liquidmetal, and LTE, and quad-core processors obscures what is really important, what is really worthy of obsession.

Apple considered physical keyboard for first iPhone
Ex-Apple executive Tony Fadell revealed that the company toyed with the idea of equipping the first iPhone with a physical keyboard, but ultimately settled on the intuitive multitouch design that changed the face of the game.
In a Friday interview with The Verge, the former iPod guru said that Apple narrowed down the original design to three prototypes before introducing the handset in January 2007.

Going out for a night on the town can be so inconvenient for women. Not only does it take hours to get ready, we’re faced with the struggle about where to place our keys, debit cards, IDs and that annoying iPhone once we’re all dressed up and ready go.
Some ladies are lucky enough to have generous boyfriends whom offer their pockets to hold all this stuff, but for all the single ladies – and those who are afraid of their men wandering off with these crucial items – the problem persists. There’s a bra for that
