Orange Divo OV4 Overview – Doug Doppler, Product Specialist for Orange, introduces the OV4, a device designed to be retrofitted into four-valve fixed-bias guitar amps. The OV4 – which must be installed by an authorized Orange service technician – promises to automatically bias output tubes, continually adjust bias to ensure peak performance, and improve tube longevity. Orange also claims several diagnostic and performance-friendly benefits, such as automatically switching out faulty tubes and running the amp on half-power. But the really cool part is that the OV4 lets you mix and match different types of tubes in your amplifier, for entirely new tonal combinations that would be impossible to experiment with any other way.
