iPad 3 Release Date

Latest rumors surrounding Apple’s iPad 3 suggest that it is set to arrive at some point in spring 2012, and that it will arrive with a thinner version of its connector, according to CNET reports.

Future iPad Could Have 3D Gesture Controls

Someday, touch might not be the only way you control your iPad. The iPads of the future might be manipulated by 3D gestures, a patent uncovered by Patently Apple suggests.
A patent application filed by Apple with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office shows that you’d be able to control cursors, icons, files, lists, text, images, etc. with various hand signals. Apple’s Siri-Enabled TV: 4 Problems

Apple may soon let you throw away your television remote and instead simply tell your TV what to do with commands like, “Switch to the Jets game on ESPN at 6 p.m.” At least, that is reportedly Apple’s vision for a new TV running a version of Siri, Apple’s digital personal assistant that debuted recently on the iPhone 4S.
The Apple TV version could ship as early as 2013, according to reports in The New York Times.

What’s Really Next for Apple in Television

“I’ve finally cracked it!” Steven P. Jobs, co-founder of Apple, told his biographer, Walter Isaacson.
Although Mr. Jobs was referring to Apple’s plans to build a full-fledged television, he was not actually referring to the TV set, which is how the comment has been widely interpreted. Instead, it is becoming clear that Mr. Jobs was talking about Siri, Apple’s new artificial intelligent software on the iPhone 4S.

iPads in Space & Apple TV Rumors that Just Won’t Die

More iPhone 4S talk, the new Apple television frenzy, the iPad is a Wi-Fi glutton, and the iPad has a new home on the International Space Station — along with Angry Birds. It’s like the world is begging for Mac OS Ken’s Ken Ray to jump into the middle of it all.
So, yeah. Apple may, at some point, make an actual TV TV. And we know because Steve Jobs said so.

iPad 3 retina display

Apple defines retina display as the “display’s pixel density being so high, your eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels.” The retina display resolution of iPhone 4S is 960 620. It means 326 pixels per inch (PPI) into the 3.5-inch screen. This is the maximum detail that human eye can discern at 12 inches.
However, CNet states that packing those many pixels into the iPad 3 is well-nigh impossible. The maximum that has been achieved by Samsung and LG are a maximum of 2,048 1,536 resolution, for 264 PPI. This is twice as sharp as iPad 2′s screen, but way far from retina display.
