Forever Geek’s Robin Parrish was inspired by the recent Les Paul Doodle. A Doodle is the modification of the Google logo to celebrate a particular event. In this case, the 96th birthday of Les Paul. It changed the logo into a playable guitar.
It can be seen by clicking here: http://www.google.com/logos/2011/lespaul.html
It is interactive as you can play it. In fact, there are a number of You Tube videos of people who have recorded songs using it as a jumping of point.
You can see what appears to be the complete collection of logos by going here: http://www.google.com/logos/index.html#logo-2011lespaul-hp
But the article’s 25 geekiest include those honoring:
Astroboy, the invention of the bar code, Comic-Con, Crop circles, Jules Verne’s 183rd birthday, the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick and the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man.

Playable here: http://www.google.com/pacman/
Of course, that isn’t the full list.
