As you may have heard, today is the release day for the Apple iPad 2. Luckily, my husband, Butch, was already scheduled for vacation today, so he was kind enough to sacrifice half his day waiting in line at the local Apple store. Butch told me that the Apple employees provided coffee, water, and even lollipops for the people who were waiting. After I picked up my daughter from school, I joined him on line for the last 45 minutes of the wait. There was a large crowd, and we were about 40th in line. Everybody there was friendly and excited, so the wait wasn’t so bad.

Pros: Attractive looking as always – Simplicity is nice sometimes and Apple makes things simple – Screen is nice and responsive to the touch as always

The Only Reason You Might Regret Buying Apple’s iPad 2
Briam Caulfield says : The iPad 2 won’t do everything. It does what it does well enough, though, that if you spend $499 for one you almost certainly won’t regret it. Here’s what you might regret, if past performance is any guide (a big if): not spending that money on Apple’s stock.
Kyle Conroy has put together a chart showing how much your investment would be worth if you’d skipped buying Apple products over the last 15 years and put the money in the company’s stock instead. Apple iPad 2 Challenge From Sony S1 PlayStation Android Tablet
The tablet seems to be the big mobile product these days and at the top of the game sits Apple with their Apple iPad and soon to be released Apple iPad 2, but Android is mounting a considerable challenge in the tablet arena.
Well Apple isn’t going to get it all their own way because the rumour is according to an article over on PC World by way of the guys over at Engadget, Sony just might be upping the stakes in the tablet wars by delivering an Android PlayStation gaming tablet to challenge the Apple iPad 2.
