After much speculation is seems that the guys over at 9to5 Mac have uncovered some actual evidence that the Apple iPad 2 will indeed come equipped with a front facing camera and at the same time dispelled rumours the Apple’s second gen tablet will have no home button.
The photos show a screen protector supposedly for the iPad 2, it clearly has a pin hole similar to what you would find on an iPhone 4 screen protectors for the front facing camera.

Apple iPad 6-inch Model Possibly On Its Way
This rumor could be good news if true. I’ve heard too many women say “I’d love to have one… but it won’t fit my purse.” as the reason for not buying an iPad. Here’s what
SuperApple.cz claims that even though Apple has been reluctant about releasing a smaller iPad, Apple is still working on two models with screen sizes close to 6 inches. Specifically, the report claims that Apple is working on a 5.7-inch model and another model just below 6 inches. They claim that this information comes from two separate sources so the minimal size difference might really not be a difference at all.http://www-bgr-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/ipad-6-inch110218190231.jpeg

Report: Apple Subscription Model Under Antitrust Scrutiny
Apple is reportedly being investigated by U.S. officials over the way in which it handles subscriptions via its app store, according to reports.
Bloomberg, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal all reported that antitrust investigators are informally investigating whether Apple’s iPad content subscription program, which gives Apple 30 percent of the revenues for online magazine and newspaper subscriptions that it itself processes, violates antitrust regulations.

An iPad for $2.82, or illegal gambling?
Here’s a puzzler: How can a website sell a $10 Walmart gift card for 26 cents and still make money? Or sell an Apple iPod worth $100 for $3.30 and make an enormous profit?
Welcome to the wild world of penny auctions, where nothing is quite what it seems and everything costs money — even the bids themselves.

Apple iPad 2 Challengers, More Android Tablets
No offense to Apple but one could even say that the original iPad did well because it had little to no competition at all during its reign.
Fast forward to today.. we have Android based tablets being launched left and right, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2/Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom, the Sony S1 PlayStation Android Tablet to name a few and these tablets are push-overs.

Apple iPad 2 And iPhone 5 Touch Panels Shortage may affect Production
The reports from DigiTimes claims that Apple has nearly 60 percent of the global touch panel for their devices but it seems that there will be shortage for touch panels for iPhone 5 and iPad 2 in the current year 2011.
Though Apple has managed to secure nearly 60 percent of the global touch Panels, depriving the other companies, they feel that they will be in trouble to reach the planned 40 million iPad2s this year.

MPs can’t purchase iPads with taxpayers money because the ‘system is totally based on Microsoft’
Members of Parliament apparently use tablet devices in the House of Commons during Question Period and 308 MPs wanted us taxpayers to dish out the cash and get them all iPads.
This is good news but it’s not because the board didn’t find the need for the iPad. According to Liberal MP Marcel Proulx it was because ‘The House system is totally based on Microsoft’

Tablet Wars Heating Up
Vendors from HP to Samsung, RIM to HTC and others served notice they are serious about competing with Apple and the iPad at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.
Apple’s iPad debuted more than a year ago, and since it went on sale last spring, Apple has sold some 15 million of them. That’s a market too big to ignore, and the rest of the tech community has been playing catch up for most of the last year.
