Tonight I attended the Macworld 2011 Media Evening Reception event at the Moscone Center West Hall — previewing what to expect from the next three days of Macworld 2011 in San Francisco. Tonight’s event was basically a media gathering of various press members from all kinds of Mac or app related websites and magazines (even a gentleman from a newspaper wanted to cover tech) and there was food and beer to go around — or wine for the more exquisite out there. In this little preview of the main event — that will be hosted at the same Moscone Center West Hall Jan. 27-29 — the press was basically getting to know each other and discussing Mac apps, hardware and tech; but there was also a number of products displayed for us to examine. I received a nice iPad case and a little iPad hand strap.
