Five Mac OS X Applications You Didn’t Know You Have

I think that most of the people who read this, will know about most if not all of these application. However, I think they could be good topics for presentations at user groups.

Automator: automates repeated tasks and actions to reduce busy work.

Image Capture: an application for transferring images from devices like cameras and phones to a Mac.

Grab: captures screen shots – in high resolution, the entire screen, individual windows, selections and timed delayed selections.

Applescript: scripting program which used to control actions of the Mac and applications.

Front Row: a media viewing application that can be opened by using the key command “Command”-“Escape.”

What do you think? Would these be good topics for meetings? Do you have someone that could teach it? Front Row, Grab and Image Capture are probably a quick one, but some of the others could be much longer.
