He talks about turning his Mac, on an Ethernet connection into a hub for access by iPhones and then another time to be accessed by several computers in his office.
Goes on the say it was was extremely simple and quick to share my internet connection on my MacBook Pro using built-in features in Mac OS X. To do the sharing, a Mac needs to be have either a wired ethernet connection or by a cellular card. I
He goes on to explain step by step with illustrations how to do it. He also has a video to watch.

Note that is article was written in 2008, so it doesn’t know about Snow Leopard. While I believe the basic instruction have not changed, since it was pretty much the same from introduction of the first iMacs.
