Macworld.com has this article about Panorama 6. I haven’t used Panorama in several years and wasn’t even aware it was available for OS X. The big difference between other databases such as FileMaker is that it is RAM-based. That makes it much quicker than the other ones which are hard drive based and only load part of the database into memory at any given time.
Another improvement in version 6.0 is that Panorma is now running fully native on Intel processors. It also includes a friendlier, more customizable data sheet; a new search dialog box that not only lets you use any or all database fields, but also accommodates Boolean formulas and stored searches. It is also available for the last three Windows versions.
