Fast Company had posted this story about the web site About.me. The article starts with “admit it you have Googled yourself.”
About.me actually does its own search of the Internet about you on an ongoing basis. It analyses your Twitter and Facebook and other online sites that you belong to. With that they determine your influence on the net.
The only real problem I see right now is that it isn’t open. It is a beta site. They are taking names for inclusion once they go live.
