5 Apps to “Pimp” your Mac

The Igloo Blog has posted this list of applications for customizing a Mac.

1. TotalFinder – not a Finder replacement but an enhancement to the native OS X Finder. It has Chrome style tabs.
2. SecondBar – For all the dual monitor junkies out there. SecondBar adds a menu to the second screen.
3. RightZoom – Forces the Green button to work like the Maximize button in Windows. (not sure I like that idea. Lynn)
4. CloudApp – used to share files. Either drag your file onto the little cloud in your menu bar or take a screen shot, then hit the paste key in your email or IM and you have a URL linked to your file. There is also have a web interface where you can see all the files you have added to your cloud.
5. Drawers – Stacks was introduced in Leopard, so you can create folders of shortcuts to your apps and then add a ‘drawer’ to that folder. Because the drawer icon sits on the top it will appear to contain all your apps.
