Recently, my granddaughter was asking us about getting a locked diary. She doesn’t want her 12 year old brother to read it.
I just Stumbled On Mémoires which seems to be what the doctor ordered.
I started looking for software to do the job, but Mémoires has more of the features I thought she would need.
First of all, you can not only set a password, but it can be encrypted using AES-128 cipher.
It is possible to export to RTF and plain text.
It uses Spotlight, has Autosave and has an updated spelling checker.
A single user license for Mémoires is only $29.95, but even better, a Family Pack for 5 is available for $49.95.
I am so glad to see more and more Mac vendors following in Apple’s foot steps by offering a Family Pack at not much more than the cost of a single license.
Of course, they provide a trial version to let you know if it does what you want.
See it and get it here: http://www.codingrobots.com/memoires/
