This article on Maciverse.com gives you step by step how to add Facebook Chat to your copy of iChat.
It uses the Jabber ability in iChat to make the connection. I have used Adium to chat with people on Facebook, but I didn’t even consider that it was possible with iChat.
According to the article, Jabber also is used to power google talk. I wonder if it to could be accessed with iChat.
