I was really impressed when I saw this section of a MobileMe web site setup by a Cowtown MUG member. The title of the section is “Innovation notes collected by me.” Meaning Elizabeth Simon known to other MUG members as “MacBeth” was showing new technologies that she had discovered on the Internet and wanted to share with her readers.

I reported on this iPhone app back in ’08, saying it would be a very cool app. Now, Sketches 2 launched with some major improvements over the original.

This is sure to be a hit – specially if someone invents an iPhone tripod – because the iPhone is plagued by camera movement blur. Apimac’s Self Timer allows you to delay the shutter release, giving you time between pushing the button and taking the actual photo.

ipl2 is the result of a merger of the Internet Public Library (IPL) and the Librarians’ Internet Index (LII). Which makes it a much better resource than either of its parts.
