Download YouTube Videos

There are a number of ways to download videos from YouTube. Some of them are quite complicated. Here is a site that actually does it for you.

They do have two options. One is to change the YouTube URL so that it reads 3outube.com/restofyoutubeurl. or just paste the link into an edit box on the 3outube.com site.

When you do the first option, at least in some cases you get to pick either MP4 or Flash versions. The second option appears to only offer FLV format. (I tested it with a Hop A-Long Cassidy trailer from 1935.)

    I think web-based downloaders are better because you don’t need to install anything.
