About.com has tried to answer a question I get frequently. “Which virtual machine is better for running Windows on the Mac.” Actually most people only know about Parallels and Fusion, so they don’t ask about VirtualBox.
Tom Nelson is the Guide and has standard benchmark tests to run. His article runs 7 pages, so I think you should read the details to see how each program fit your needs.
He does seem to give the nod to Fusion in most cases, but those cases might not pertain to your needs.
