Long ago, I recommended Download.com for Mac software downloads. But I quickly changed to VersionTracker and MacUpdate as a great way to find new files and keep them up to date. (Both can send email to you telling you of updates to particular programs.) Continue reading »

Acorn by Flying Meat Software is a “image editor for humans” according to their web site. However, I really couldn’t try out their latest version as it is Intel Mac only. It also requires Snow Leopard. Continue reading »
