I have thought that MacRumors.com in many ways has been doing what I wanted to do with the original “Rumor Manager” column. But…
But the rumors they are reporting on now seem to be so out there that they don’t seem to be vetting the process the way the used to do. Some of these, like gesture mice and two handed gesture keyboard seem rather extreme.
Other like new iMacs are coming seem to be obvious. Eventually we will get new ones and the length of time since the last ones appeared are also getting to match up. So MAYBE they will show soon.
All of us need to remember that rumors come and go. More of them prove to be wrong that become true. If rumors had been true, we would have seen an iPhone in 2005.
So lets just take it all with a breath of humor please.
