Those on the Mac are finding out about the usefulness of syncing iCal events via iTunes and/or MobileMe to various computers, iPhones and iPod Touches. Don Mayer from SmallDog reported in their newsletter “Kibbles and Bytes” that there are lots of free calendars you can subscribe to via iCal that you will find useful.
His first example primarily helps those in the Boston area, it was a schedule for the Red Sox.
But as he points out, these cover a wide range of topics including sports, holidays, schools, tour dates and more. Apple lists many of them at: ttp://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/
He also suggests using Google to search for iCal calendars. That is how he found the Red Sox schedule.
Of course, once you have the link made you an share it with all your devices.
Meanwhile, I recommend their newsletter as very educational about the Macintosh. See their web site and subscribe here: ttp://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/
