The G4 Macintosh Cube was a success in the terms of getting a cult following. However, financially it didn’t do well as a technology has moved on, even the cultists have had to find ways to use the box in delightful ways that Apple never expected.
The Apartment Therapy Unplugged web site has this article as a “roundup” item.
The uses range from using the Cube as an Aquarium, (not particularly creative since Andy Ihnatko did that with a MacPlus), to a tissue box cover, to a stand for a Mac Mini with external hard drive. However, the Aquarium here does look better than the Plus version.
