AppleUsers.org is a rapidly growing community of now close to 5,000 users. While originating in Australia, they are pushing for a Worldwide global community …

Hailing from Elsternwick, VIC, Australia, Nicholas Pyers and Kyle Kreusch are building an active community focusing on all things Macintosh, iPhone, iPod, and all things Apple. AppleUsers.org (AUo) is a central location for the Committees, Editors, Web Masters and other Leaders of Australian Apple User Groups to find useful resources. They represent nearly thirty active Apple Users Groups, based all around Australia, with a combined membership in excess of five thousand Apple Enthusiasts and Users. But they are an online group only — no meetings.
See their newsletter at: www.appleusers.org/magazine/
Each month, Nicholas Pyers, the Founder of AppleUsers.org, compiles a Disc of the Month title that is made available to Australian Apple Users Groups to distribute and sell to their members. The Discs are also promoted through Australian Macworld.
They also compile a list of all the Apple User Group meetings that are been held around Australia each month and this list is published in Australian Macworld.
AppleUsers.org regularly informs the Leaders of Australian Apple User Groups of various Resources that are available exclusively to Apple User Groups, including special deals and promotions that may interest their members. They also try and arrange some offers that are exclusively for Australian Apple User Groups, including unique content for newsletters and donations of goods for use by Australian MUGs as Raffle or Door Prizes at their meetings.
