According to an article in the Honolulu Advertiser, the Hawaii Macintosh and Apple Users Society is presenting a full day of Macintosh activity called “Mac Springfest” net Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Japanese-American Institute of Management Science building.
The Honolulu Apple Users Society (HAUS) was the first user group that I was involved with. I believe that it was a predecessor to this group, but I really don’t know. I’m really happy to see such an active group there.
According to the article, it is a FREE event. With presentations, “Talks” all day long with Great Door prizes.
They list an “All Star Cast.” Although I don’t recognize any of the names, but they promise break out sessions covering Mac beginners, PC switchers, expert Mac users and Photography.
I wonder how many groups are planning activities such as this. It could be a great way to get new members.
