We all played games in the “old days” that aren’t around any more and I had assumed that MacOS on a PowerPC machine meant that I couldn’t play those older games.
We know that we can’t do Mac classic games on the machines that are running Leopard, but if the computer would boot in Tiger or older, then we could reboot on a drive that had it installed.
However, here is away to run DOS (PC) games on Macs running Mac OS X. There are also links here for doing it in newer Windows machines as well.
Here is the original page that I discovered that references the others: http://dbot.org/index.php?paged=4
Here is the web site that has links to Windows, Mac and Linux (even BeOS ) versions: http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1&begaming_website_session=448f78b0c71fec75b53cb10a9b9f7d5d
Enjoy and let me know how it goes.
