MUG Produces iPhone Game

It has been a long time since I have heard of a user group that actually produced and sold a piece of software. Back in the Apple II days, there was the A.P.P.L.E. from the state of Washington that produced and sold a Visi-Calc clone called THE Spreadsheet. Now come an announcement of an application written by a MUG SIG.

Jose Betancur of the ColombiaMUG announced on the AUGD mailing list that their Software Development SIG developed an iPhone game that is called Crazy Drops.

It looks a little bit like a two player version of Tetris, yet different.

The game is already in the AppStore: Crazy Drops http://tinyurl.com/crazydrops

To see a video clip of the game visit: http://www.crazydropsgame.com

It would be great if more groups followed their example.

Congratulations ColombiaMUG
