I sure by now you have realized that the Mac turns 25 on 1/24/2009. Yes the lady has been running down that aisle and throwing the hammer for a long time now.

The comment I found most interesting mentions in a link, a number of names that I remember from my 2 years as a Boston Computer Society Activist with BCS Mac, September 1986 to October 1988.
Those names include Jack Hodgson, Rob Hafer, Raines Cohen (who I remember mostly from BMUG), Ben Calica (founded the Hypercard SIG), Becky Waring (editor of the Active Window newsletter) and Ric Ford.
Those were exciting times. Nothing like BCS Mac exists today although there are many members still active in the Boston area with Mac user group activities.
