Most of us in the MUG community at least know that Terminal is on our machines, but not many of us really know what to do with it. “Art of Geek” has presented us with several commands that look useful.
This article is a couple of years old, but they still apply.
Of course, you will find Terminal in your Utilities folder.

Any of these could be useful to some of us in the future. The author says he keeps these commands in a Stickie for copy and paste to the Terminal window.
