On the Mac’s 25th Anniversary Adam Engst answers the question “what was the Best Mac Ever?”
He quotes Andy Ihnatko as saying that one’s best Mac ever is the first one they own.
But he has another criteria, it appears to be longevity in service. He says that he used a Mac SE converted to an SE/30 1990 and kept in service until 2001. He does list other reasons but it would be a good conversation to have at your MUG.
