SiteSucker

There used to be several applications on the Mac that would download a site. I remember one that downloaded it as many links down as wanted. Many of those saved the files in Acrobat format. However SiteSucker copies the site’s web pages, images, backgrounds, movies and other files to your hard drive.

SiteSucker can be used to make local copies of your Web sites for easy maintenance. It can download files unmodified or “localize” the files it downloads, allowing you to browse a site offline.

SiteSucker 2.0 has been completely rewritten as a Universal Cocoa application. It now uses WebKit to asynchronously download files, and it includes integrated online help.

With SiteSucker 2.1, you can now save all the information about a download in a document. This allows you to create a document that you can use to perform the same download whenever you want.

If SiteSucker is in the middle of a download when you choose the Save command, SiteSucker will pause the download and save its status with the document. When you open the document later, you can restart the download from where it left off by pressing the Resume button.

Hardware and Operating System Requirements
SiteSucker is a Universal application, which means that it’s made to run on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Mac computers. SiteSucker requires Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger or greater. Of course, to download files, your computer will also need an Internet connection.

SiteSucker is donation ware. Pay what you think it is worth.
