The title above is the title of the traditional topic for the November CMUG meeting. We used to do a game night, but haven’t done that in a few years. This year, I am organizing the presentation. Of course, there is the obvious and some not so obvious, but I have trouble coming with “Not” items. Here is a tally of my “Hot” items.
Of course, the first I come up with is the full range of iPods. The Shuffle is the least expense and the smallest in storage space. But I expect the Nano and the iPod Touch will be the big sellers this year.
The big ticket items are the MacBook and the MacBook Pro with the new 24″ screen.
A few non-Apple items I have come across are:
The Eye-Fi Camera 2 Gig SD memory card that turns any camera that accepts that size memory card into a Wi-Fi device. Time magazine listed it as one of the greatest inventions of 2008.
There are three models that add features and range in price from $79-$129. You can see the details at the manufacturer’s web site here.
Another product I find interesting is from Eikon, a biometric password device.
Just use your thumb print to get access to your computer.
Let us know if you have some cool items to add.
