Apple Anarchy

I remember being at the Boston Computer Society office on March 31 in 1987. I was watching one of the activists set up all the Macs in the office with April Fools jokes.

One of them was a startup picture of a man behind prison bars with a sound file that said “Let me out of here” several times. Another one showed a “Bomb” dialog box. It displayed a grey out OK button and a Restart button that appeared to be active, but then dialog box “ran” from the cursor so it was impossible to click on the restart button.

The result was undoubtedly confusion the next morning. Apple Anarchy appears to be a web site dedicated to this idea of humor.
