Tulsa's third annual Tulsa TechFest has been announced by local volunteer organizers. The technology community will unite for the event at OSU-Tulsa's downtown campus on Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th, 2008.
Tulsa's third annual Tulsa TechFest has been announced by local volunteer organizers. The technology community will unite for the event at OSU-Tulsa's downtown campus on Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th, 2008.

The two-day technology conference is one of the largest IT conferences in the region. Its focus is to educate attendees about software development products and trends, project management, information security, database management and performance, and personal and professional development. This year Tulsa TechFest is adding to the lineup graphic and web designer content and Marketing & Business sessions.
Topics include Silverlight 2.0, Agile, Project Management, SQL Server, Data Security, Java, PHP, Sharepoint, DotNetNuke, .NET, Starting a Business, eCommerce, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media and more.
Prize drawings held each day with current prize retail value over $100,000 and more being added daily. Including

Lunch served free of charge both days. Tulsa TechFest is a free event, but request all attendees bring "two cans or two bucks" each day to be donated to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Family & Children's Services.
"We are building on the success over the past two years by broadening our coverage to include even more of the IT professionals in the corporate ecosystem," said Tulsa TechFest Chairman, David Walker. "This isn't your typical conference as attendees will hear from the nation's top industry executives with real-world experiences. We already have attendees registered from as far away as Connecticut."
Over 60 speakers will present including Chris Bernard, User Experience Evangelist for Microsoft, Bill Vaughn, Founder of Beta V Corporation, Les Pinter, Founder of Pinter Consulting, Chris Koenig, Developer Evangelist for Microsoft, Zain Naboulsi, Developer Evangelist for Microsoft, Claudio Lassala, Senior Developer for EPS Software, and Eric Shupps, Founder and President of Binary Wave.
Tulsa TechFest 2008 sponsors include Microsoft, Addison Group, Oracle, Tulsa Community College, GDH Consulting, Infragistics, Red-Gate Software, JoCo and Tulsa Connect.
Tulsa TechFest welcomes all those working in the technology field, as well as those interested in learning more about the most recent technology advancements. The conference is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
