Macintosh Southern Tier Apple Club

MacStac

Macintosh Southern Tier Apple Club (MacSTAC) is a volunteer-based Macintosh computer support organization, with members from all walks of life, careers, and levels of ability. All Mac users and people interested in Macs are welcome to improve their knowledge and, in turn, share their Mac knowledge with others. They offer the latest news from Apple plus new programs and users tips.

What makes MacSTAC special?

MacSTAC is one of the nation’s oldest Mac user groups, dating back to 1978. They originally organized as an Apple II club and then transitioned to the Macintosh computer in 1984. The club meets on the third Thursday of each month. For information, updates and directions to meetings see MacStac Events.

Meetings consist of news from Apple, questions and answers, demonstrations of software and hardware, and a brief social time with soft drinks, cookies, and popcorn. Each meeting includes a question and answer period.
