Smile On My Mac has announced a new version of PDFpen. It adds several new features.
Like Acrobat Pro 9, it will correct text in the original PDF with editable text blocks; provides optical character recognition; works with images in the original PDF, (move, resize, copy and delete); add note, comments and highlighting.
Additionally, it will make image backgrounds transparent; has a library to store frequently used text, images, scribbles and signatures; has a built in proofreading marks library.
