MadMimi
While preparing this weeks material, I got an html email from RealMac Software talking about their new product "LittleSnapper", which is an organized scrapbook. Which sounds like a good product, and I will talk about it more at a later time.
What attracted my eye was a link at the bottom of the e-mail that said "Powered by MadMimi".
MadMimi does the emailing for a group.
How MadMimi Works
1. Create Your Account - Can try for free for up to 100 subscribers. If larger list, it is a paid account and requires a credit card.
2. Add The Addresses - Copy and paste your email address list(s) into Mad Mimi. Duplicates and common spacing issues are auto-corrected.
3. Design your promotion - Add, modify and move things around as your promo comes to life in front of your eyes. No design skills necessary – Mimi guides the process. (The home page has a video that shows how it is done.)
4. Send Your Emails - Mad Mimi shows the viewing and clicking behavior of your mail recipients in real time! Plus Mimi stores every metric imaginable so that you can modify your marketing approach to improve results.

Requirements: A computer, an Internet connection, and any of these web browsers: IE 6 or 7 (PC), Firefox 2 or later (Mac, PC, or Linux), Safari 2 or later (Mac). Nothing to download or install ever.
Their privacy and contract terms look very good for both the sender and the end user.
