Games on the rise
As we move toward the holiday season, and the surge of interest in computer games, Ambrosia Software is gearing up with some new updates and features to their wonderful collection of games. There are three great upgrades from Ambrosia
Apeiron X 1.0.3 & Bubble Trouble X
These new releases of Apeiron X & Bubble Trouble X are both Universal Binaries that run native on Intel Macs, and continue to work on any Mac running MacOS X 10.3.9 or later. In addition to being a Universal Binaries, a few minor bugs were fixed, and features polished.
Apeiron X 1.0.3 & Bubble Trouble X 1.1.0 include the following changes/enhancements:
-- Recompiled as Universal Binary to natively on Intel Macs.
-- Bug fixes & enhancements
Welcome to the addiction of Apeiron X, an arcade game like no other. Don't let it's simple game play fool you, an easy game to play, but one hard to master. You are released into the mushroom patch where it's man vs insect, as you try to battle each wave of never ending bugs. Featuring an online ranking system, players are able to record their highest scores and see how they compare with other worldwide Apeiron fanatics.
Bubble Trouble's world is filled with lusciously-drawn cartoony critters who give that cranky crab from "The Little Mermaid" a run for his money. But money isn't what you'll be running from: an otherwise peaceful fish bowl has been filled with bubbles that are being tossed around in an enthralling game of "Squish the Fish!"

Ambrosia has also rolled out the latest release of Redline. This update of the popular online racing game brings improvements and bug fixes.
This update is free to all registered users, and there are two ways to download this new release. You can do so quickly using the auto updater from the game's main menu, or you can download the full archive as a disk image.
Redline 1.0.5 features the following changes/enhancements:
* Integrated enhanced Ambrosia registration system
* Custom cars can specify RPMs for shifting up and engaging the clutch
* Redline can now list more then 64 different tracks
* Replays with missing plug-in cars will no longer crash the game
* Various other enhancements and bug fixes
* Switches over to incremental Sparkle for future updates
* Will now optionally look for Plug-Ins in ~/Application Support/ Redline/ and save redlogs there as well (it will still make use of Plug-Ins located at the same directory as the Redline.app)
Please note that clients older than 1.0.3 cannot join Redline 1.0.5 multiplayer games due to newer functionality, so Redline 1.0.5 is a highly recommended update Gun the throttle, light up the tires, and hurtle down the track in any of the four racing modes Redline offers: the realistic Simulation mode, an aggressive Arcade mode, clean racing Strict mode, or kick it into high gear in the insanely intense Turbo Arcade mode. No matter what your pleasure, take your pick from numerous cars, tracks, and jump into a racing game that delivers adrenaline via digital injection.
Redline costs $25, requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, and is a Universal Binary application.
