SignatureProfiler for Mail
I have just recently started using the signature part of Mail. In the past, I have had sig files on a number of different mail programs, but I just hadn't gotten around to it in Mail or hadn't quite figure out how it works.
My first problem was that I was creating my sigs in the "all" bucket, but none of the individual accounts would recognize them. I didn't realize that it was necessary to drag them to each account.
Now comes ?SignatureProfiler. Actually it has been around for some time, but I just "StumbledOn" it today.
The Current Version is 1.4.8 and corrected a problem with using aliases in a .Mac account.
Originally written for the first version of Apple's Mail but even the current version of Mail could use additional features.
The cool thing here is that you can set up the same signature to have different content based on which acount you are actually using to send out the mail.
The SignatureProfiler plugin is now available only for Tiger and Leopard and is a Universal Binary. The installer make a small change to the Mail preferences, if necessary, that needs to happen for Mail to recognize the plugin.
Requirements
