Along with the news about the iPhone launch, we decided to go snooping around for some of the more unique or off-the-wall iPhone applications -- all announced within hours of Apple's iPhone launch last week.
iPhone Productivity
Aria Touch, from Black Pixel Luminance, turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a standalone task management system. Tuner and Metronome for the iPhone
Chromatic Bytes has rolled out Orfeo 1.0, a four octave chromatic tuner and metronome for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Orfeo's tuner plays four octaves of pitches from C2 to C6 and gives you a choice of sounds. Now, you can tune your guitar (or other instrument) and get the rhythm right from your iPhone.
