I have mentioned OpenDNS in the past. With it, you can speed up your connection to web sites. Additionally you can easily block web sites from your computer network.
The web filtering now has 54 categories. With that, it is possible to filter out web sites that you find objectionable.
According to the OpenDNS newsletter, more than 10,000 schools now use OpenDNS to filter websites.
One of the good things about OpenDNS is that they do their own PhishTank and have been recognized by PC World Magazine and others for their efforts in keeping the web safe. If you do click on a link in a Phishing email OpenDNS will probably recognize it and give you a warning about being there.
