Emulators for Macintosh (Mac OS X)
There have been a lot of game consoles over the years. This web site tells us how to run emulators of a lot of them on our Macs running OSX.
From the web site: "The vast majority of these emulators are coded by Richard Bannister who is basically the king of Mac OS X ports for Windows based emulators. Most of the emulators are quite on par with the Windows counterparts. In addition to Bannister’s emulators, you may also be interested in his Emulator Enhancer module (only works with Bannister’s emus). This is a shareware module which adds the following additional options: Auto Fire, Custom icon generation, Full screen mode, Network play (some emulators). Real time video and sound filtering and support for USB game pads and joysticks. If you have any issues with the console and/or computer emulators listed here, it is highly recommended you try SDLMESS (SDL source can be compiled for MacOS, Linux or Windows). This page is work in progress, so if anything is out of date, missing, or incorrect, please notify us."
