Adam Engst has written an article which takes the counter point to a David Pogue article that claims that e-books will pretty much be pirated once they hit the Internet.
Adam of course publishes the Take Control books. Take Control has a hard copy of many of their books, but the primary means of sales is as e-books.
Adam says he has sold over 150,000 e-books and has found almost no evidence of piracy on the ‘net. That is truly amazing.

Of course, user groups are included in the marketing efforts of Take Control.
BTW – Adam still publishes TidBITS and offers it to user groups for re-publication.
