Windows on Mac
MacWorld has a series of articles about running Windows on a Mac.
One article is Microsoft Office: The killer Windows app.
It explains why you may want to run Windows just so you can run MS Office. After all, the latest version for Mac doesn't have VBA among other features.
Another is The 10 best games you won’t find on your Mac. 10 more reasons for installing Windows.
The third is even more impressive, it is The third is More killer Windows programs.
The programs they list are: Internet Explorer 7, Windows Media Player 11, Visio 2007,
Netflix, Quicken Home and Business, Earthmate GPS LT-40 with Street Atlas USA 2008 Plus and Electric Quilt 6. In each case, the Windows version has features that are not in the Mac version if there is a Mac version. One I think they missed is Microsoft Publisher. Not that there isn't better publishing programs available for the Mac, but I have seen a number of people who want to main compatibility.
While at the site, look for the video and the podcast dealing with Windows on Mac.
